Our carbon inlets have a larger volume than the stock inlets by maintaining a larger diameter all the way to the turbos. The stock inlets narrow down immediately after the connection to the intake which creates a restriction especially at higher boost levels. We have alleviated this restriction and also designed the curvature to be as smooth as possible allowing the turbos to function with reduced resistance. Made from prepreg carbon fiber with CNC machined flanges, the inlets also provide an aesthetic improvement to the engine bay.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eBenefits of the inlets are apparent with tuned vehicles where the boost pressure is higher and therefore the flow demand form the turbos is greater. This is where the larger volume of the carbon inlets help provide that extra flow.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe performance gains are produced from providing the turbos with a less resistive flow path which allows them to reach peak boost sooner in the RPM range. When comparing to the stock inlets the differences are clear to see. Where the stock tubes narrow down immediately after the connection to the intakes, our tubes maintain a larger diameter and the reduction to the stock turbos is achieved with an internal radius on the machined flanges. This allows for larger volume whilst maintaining a smooth flow path. This intake is the result of extensive R\u0026amp;D and testing to improve on the flow path of the stock system. Our system is a complete redesign of the stock airboxes with the aim of reducing pressure loss while increasing the flow rate and keeping inlet temperatures low. With the stock cold air feeds at the front of the car and the turbo inlets facing the rear of the car, the airflow has to negotiate a 180 degrees turn through each airbox resulting in a flow restriction. To overcome this we have introduced an additional cold air feed from the scuttle panel, which results in a more direct flow path to the turbo inlets. The additional feeds allow the intake to have a higher flow rate whilst keeping IATs low and have an additional benefit of de-restricting the sound of the turbos. With the intake openings now facing the cabin, the turbo flutter and pressure release sounds are clearly audible, elevating the driving experience to another level.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Eventuri Difference\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe F9X X5M, G09 XM Eventuri system uses our Patented Carbon Fiber Housings with our Gen 2 bespoke filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag on the turbo.
